The Boil Water Advisory for Lake Anna has been lifted. All samples were lab tested per the Virginia Department of Health and results were negative for contaminants.
Water is safe for consumption and customers may resume normal use for cooking, bathing and cleaning.

Due to a loss of power during last night's storms, resulting in a loss of pressure in the system, customers in the New Bridge System at Lake Anna are advised to boil water before using for drinking or food and beverage preparation. The pressure was restored within an hour of the loss and this advisory is being issued out of an abundance of caution.
