LOUISA COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY – REMOVING WATER RESTRICTIONS
LOUISA, VIRGINIA – Due to the recent rains and the recovery of Louisa County Water Authority (LCWA) water supply resources, all LCWA water restrictions are being removed – effective immediately.
LCWA will continue to monitor and manage water resources in a prudent manner. Customers are encouraged to practice responsible water usage, whether restrictions are in place or not, to protect both the environment and valuable water supplies.
“On behalf of LCWA, I am grateful for our customers’ support and partnership while restrictions were in place,” said Judson Foster, LCWA Chairman. “Ideally, consistent precipitation would negate the need for water restrictions, but it is our duty to manage water resources responsibly when droughts do occur."
